Three George Street Bed & Breakfast was featured in the local Advocate Newspaper, after it’s well-attended opening night in late October 2008.

The duties of an AFL footballer and Bed and Breakfast owner may be leagues apart, but Kangaroos star Brady Rawlings now places both roles on his mantle.

The former Devonport man celebrated the official opening of his new B&B, Three George Street, in Devonport last night.

"I grew up here and have had some of the best times of my life so I'm keen to re-invest and move back once I finish playing footy," he said.

Rawlings said the accommodation house was close to his two favourite places - the Mersey River foreshore and his former home turf at the Devonport Oval.
